At the time, the volume of production was extremely low and the company worked exclusively in the Portuguese market. But over the years, it has been growing and modernizing, increasing demand for Xarão products in the Portuguese and international markets.
In the decade of 2004, the company passed into the hands of a second generation of the family, who with an entrepreneurial spirit and work dynamics, promoted the increase of their physical and organizational capacity.
In 2009 due to increased sales New facilities have been occupied, equipped with ecological awareness, and new markets have been worked on.
At present, Xarão is present in almost all the continents, working ten additional markets to the country of origin, which represents about 25% of the total turnover.
Now with more than 35 years of activity, Xarão is proud to commercialize 42 references among distillates, liqueurs and syrups, being market leader in some of them. The company assumes as main customers the large chains of hypermarkets with a view to the final consumer, and the beverage representatives who work directly with the catering mainly hotels and bars.
